Arrow Real Estate Services is proud to formally introduce and highlight two new agents to our team. Familiar faces in real estate world, John Garruto and Ralph Ragan bring various experiences in commercial real estate to Arrow. Both agents are valuable assets to our team, and we extend a warm welcome.
After a career that spanned 31 years in law enforcement, John Garruto retired from the Lakewood, NJ Police Department as a Lieutenant in charge of Night Operations. When he retired in 2003 he determined that it was time to reinvent himself. So, he entered the fascinating world of real estate. In his first six (6) months, he listed over $15 million worth of property. John has worked with real estate investors and developers. Some of the projects that John has worked on include; the sale of farmland for the construction of single family homes, he has placed five (5) unlisted land parcels, each totaling more than 100 acres, under contract for the development solar farms. He has worked on the sale and purchase of multi-family housing and retail centers. John has owned real estate investments, including, an interest in a 96-unit apartment complex in Greensboro, NC.
John holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Rutgers University, he is a Certified Public Manager. He is graduate of the Northwest University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Ocean County Human Relations Commission. He was a Past President and Member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County.
John is a licensed Broker/Sales Associate in New Jersey and a licensed Sales Associate in Pennsylvania.
Ralph Ragan has been a part of the real estate industry for over 40 years.
His first experience in the real estate industry occurred while he was working in the US Postal Service in Operational/Facility Planning. During this time, Ralph became the Manager of the Real Estate Branch. He managed a staff of real estate specialists, technicians and support staff. He was the Contracting Officer for Acquisitions, Leasing, Maintenance and Disposals during his career at the US Postal Service. Throughout his 23-year career at the US Postal Service in Operational/Facility Planning, he worked in many different states.
Throughout Ralph’s real estate career, he has worked with several appraisal firms in preparing appraisal reports for various types of commercial real estate.
Most recently, Ralph worked for KW Commercial servicing buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords throughout the Delaware Valley. His areas of involvement included industrial, retail, small office, and institutional properties.
