Arrow Real Estate Services recently sponsored and participated in the ICSC PA/NJ/DE Conference & Deal Making Event held in Atlantic City, NJ on September 12-14th.
The mission of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is to advance the shopping center industry and promote its role in the commercial distribution of consumer goods and services. The ICSC annual events are a great opportunity for owners, developers, retailers, brokers, lenders, municipalities, property asset managers, and product and service providers to gather under one roof to exhibit, make deals and form successful business partnerships. The 2016 ICSC three-day event brought together numerous keynote speakers and panel experts in the commercial real estate arena. 1580+ attendee’s and 135+ exhibitors attended this year’s event.
Since 1957, the ICSC has been the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Sean Sablosky, CEO, and founding partner of Arrow Real Estate Services has been a member of the ICSC for over 30 years. Arrow has been a major contributor to the ICSC events for several years. This year was no exception; Arrow was a Gold Sponsor for the event. Arrow sponsored the Sporting Clay Session on Monday morning located at the M&M Hunting Preserve. On Tuesday, Arrow co-sponsored breakfast with the Dare Associates.
The Speed Dating session at the Atlantic City ICSC was a huge success. This year, Arrow’s agent Bob Winitsky carried on the tradition. Started by our co-founding partner Brooke Henningsen, it continues to be one of the highlights of the ICSC event. Bob was pleased with the event, “It gives retailers like my client, The Simple Greek, to meet face to face with more brokers and developers in one hour than we could in two days of meetings. This particular session was a standing room only crowd. I mentioned the session to several leasing reps from GGP, PREIT and Cedar and they mentioned after the conference that they agree it is the single most productive hour of the entire conference; I couldn’t agree more. I am still trying to catch up with all the contacts that have requested additional information from me regarding The Simple Greek.” Arrow is proud to be the founder of the speed dating session and plans to continue hosting the meetings at future events.
Founding Partner and CEO, Sean Sablosky, was pleased with the turnout. “Arrow’s booth was a popular place to be throughout the convention, Agents were kept busy, with many opportunities to discuss their properties in detail.” Arrow was able to gain two new Agents from the conference, and make many new connections.
This year’s ICSC event was very successful for Arrow Real Estate Services. Attendees and Agents felt that the speakers were on point and extremely helpful. The speed dating and round table discussions were a resourceful tool in making connections and marketing properties. The Arrow team is anticipating the 2017 event to be just as successful at the 2016 one!
